Clear your history, your way

A trash button on the shelf, a more forgiving license check, and a long list of fixes from a full review of the app.

  • NewClear All. The trash button on the shelf clears all your history, or just one type: every image, link, file, color, code snippet or piece of text. You can also empty a single pinboard. Clips in pinboards are kept unless you choose to delete everything, and EveryPaste always asks first. The same options are in Settings › Data.
  • NewFormatting from Chrome and Google Docs is kept when you paste it back, not just from apps that offer RTF.
  • NewSettings › License shows your key (mostly hidden), when it was last checked, and a Check Now button.
  • NewVoiceOver: clip cards have Paste, Paste as Plain Text, Quick Look, Copy and Delete actions.
  • ImprovedOffline for more than a week? EveryPaste now asks for a quick check instead of your key, and never uses up another of your Macs. It also warns you a few days before.
  • ImprovedRe-activating after you removed a Mac from your license is one click: the key is already filled in.
  • ImprovedWithout Accessibility permission, picking a clip now says “Copied. Press ⌘V” instead of seeming to do nothing.
  • ImprovedOn macOS Sonoma, windows open in front of other apps, and Settings explains when macOS needs your OK to open EveryPaste at login.
  • FixedA hiccup at the license server could lock you out. Only a definite answer, such as a refund, can now turn a license off.
  • FixedA Mac clock that was set wrong and then corrected no longer keeps EveryPaste locked.
  • Fixed⌘⌫ in the search box clears the search instead of deleting clips. ⌥← and ⌥→ move through the search text.
  • FixedChinese, Japanese and other input methods now work in search.
  • FixedThe shortcut recorder refuses shortcuts like ⌘C or ⌘Q that would stop working in every other app.
  • FixedSecrets stay private when you paste several clips at once or use Merge All in the paste stack, and can’t be dragged out of the shelf. The clip editor is hidden from screen recordings.
  • FixedThe same text copied twice into a paste stack now pastes twice, and either copy can be removed.
  • FixedText containing a hidden null character is no longer cut short, and “Pause until I resume” stays paused after a restart or update.

1.0.1

Now on macOS Sonoma

EveryPaste now runs on macOS 14 Sonoma as well as macOS 15 Sequoia and later.

  • NewSupport for macOS 14 Sonoma, on Apple silicon and Intel Macs.
  • ImprovedUpdates download as a small patch (about 340 KB) instead of the whole app.

1.0.0

Hello, EveryPaste

The first release: everything you copy, one keystroke away.

  • NewThe shelf: press ⇧⌘V in any app to see everything you’ve copied, as cards you can paste with a keystroke.
  • NewSearch by any part of a word, with app:, type: and date: filters, and search the text inside screenshots, read on your Mac.
  • NewPaste stack, snippets with fill-in fields, and Paste As: plain text, camelCase, pretty JSON, Markdown links and more.
  • NewNamed pinboards, Quick Look previews, and Apple Shortcuts and Siri actions.
  • NewPrivate by design: copies from password managers are never saved; one-time codes, card numbers and API keys are hidden and deleted after five minutes; the shelf stays out of screen sharing.
